Welcome to the Meridian Optimist Club’s website. Meeting the needs of young people in communities worldwide, optimist clubs have been “Bringing out the Best in Kids” since 1919. Optimist clubs conduct positive service projects aimed at providing a helping hand to youth. Optimist International is one of the world’s largest and most active service organizations with more than 119,000 members in over 3,800 clubs.

Chartered April 1976, as part of Optimist International, the Meridian Optimist club is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary serving Meridian and the surrounding area. As you peruse through our website, you will see the many projects, services and fundraisers our club is involved in.
